A Universal Christmas

Universal Studio

Welcomed by the festive street at Elf Town and New York Street with all characters greeting at you! ❤

This place put me right in the mood for Christmas...

Stroll around Elf Town where you’ll meet some of Santa’s helpers such as the mustachioed Chester Chestnut and sweet Sugarplum Mary!

Not sure where to start first. There are just too many things to see!

The joy of Christmas isn't something you can describe, even a grouchy person can smile in a place like this. Welcomed by all colourful displays and eyes-catching decorations at the New York Street and Elf Town, happy vibes is overpouring here. The characters are all dressed up in Christmas costumes and christmas songs are played all over.

A Christmas Date with Marilyn Monroe Show with that awkward guy haha...

However just to take note the happening Christmas activities are only happening around NY Street and Elf Town, the other sections of the park remains as per usual.

Christmas Wonderland

Garden By the Bay

Christmas wonderland start since 2016 and the responses from either the locals or tourists were great.

I swear it is so much prettier to see with your own eyes...

Hello Reindeers, bring me to meet Santa...

Displays at Santa Grotto.

We were really glad it carries on for the past 2 years because it literally feels like a foreign land the moment you step into Garden by the bay. Featuring SEA biggest luminarie light sculptures with mirror maza made in Italy, performance by illutionist Rob Lake, Asia's largest Santa Grotto as well as an outdoor skating rink, a night spent here surely will not be boring.

Rare sight of garden by the bay.

Colourful signboard and bulbs are found everywhere.

While you are done being dazzled by the luminating lights, head over the the open-air eating area for light snacks/beer or go for the carnival games and win yourself a christmas gift this year. As you walked further away from the wonderland towards the Supertree grove, there are European Christmas markets selling all kinds snakcs and hand-crafted goods.

Christmas On A Great Street

Orchard Road

While it has always been filled with lights and charms throughout the year, the festive displays during this season made it an even more attrative place!!  On top of that, the theme of this year is DISNEY MAGICAL MOMENTS!!!! (How amazing?!) The entire street stretching from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapure was all filled with fairy lights and Disney characters as if I was in Disneyland.

Orchard Road has never failed every year for their Christmas decorations.

Irresistible Mickey-shaped lights hanging from the trees...

Be a spotlight with Mickey and Minnie...

Princess Elsa visited here..

it was separated into 4 zones and each of them shines in different colours. Disney princesses - Pink, Mickey & friends - light blue, Frozen - Dark Blue and Toy Story - Orange. Either by driving or walking I can assure you will the most magical times by the dazzling lights. However if you have the time to spare, I would recommend to go by walking because there are many creative disney displays to take photos with and none of them should be missed out!

Visit here in the day too!!

While all of the malls along Orchard Road are trying to be as creative and extravagant as they can, ION mall deserves a mention for their beautiful set up every year.

The most memorable one I can remember was a gigantic white tree decorated with Swarovski crystals 2 years ago. This year, Cartier Ferris Wheel has surely won all the girls' heart! Despite it is only a decorative ferris wheel installation, its presence has added a tint of romantic and sweetness to people visiting it.
